Is Bildo waterproof? Can I use it in the bath or shower?

Bildo is rated IPX6, which means it is fully waterproof for use in the shower and safe for cleaning under running water. However, we recommend not submerging it fully in the bath or hot tub, as it is not designed for prolonged immersion. This helps protect the internal components and ensures long-term durability.

How do I clean the modules? Is it hygienic to swap them?

Absolutely. Bildo is made from non-porous, medical-grade silicone — the same standard used in surgical tools. All modules can be detached and cleaned individually using warm water and mild, unscented soap (or your favorite toy cleaner).

Because the system is modular, you can fully access and clean every connection point—unlike many traditional toys where inner crevices are hard to reach.

Will the modules disconnect during use?

Nope. The core design features secure magnetic-locking and twist-to-lock mechanisms to ensure everything stays connected—even during intense use. It’s engineered for real movement, not just aesthetics.

How is Bildo charged?

Bildo charges via USB-C, so it’s fast, modern, and universal. A single charge lasts multiple sessions, depending on intensity and module configuration.

Is it app-controlled?

Not yet—but it’s coming. The current model is manually controlled via the core unit, and future versions will include Bluetooth + app control.
